The number of foreign residents in Japan is increasing.

In tourist areas and big cities, there are places where you cannot hear Japanese.

Many Japanese people are very shy and have difficulty speaking English.

I would like to ask tourists and foreigners living in Japan:

Please speak to Japanese people, even if it is just in simple Japanese.

I would like to soon set up a corner for simple Japanese lessons for foreigners who are not good at Japanese.

I have studied English for many years, but living abroad has made me realize the importance of language more than anything else.

Thanks to English, I have been able to travel to nearly 40 countries around the world and even live there for short periods of time.

Of course, different countries have completely different cultures, societies, customs, and ways of thinking.

My experience living abroad has made it clear to me that communicating directly with each other is crucial for peaceful coexistence.

I believe Japan is a country with a unique culture and customs.

I realized this when I traveled abroad and observed Japan from the outside.

To those who are thinking of visiting Japan, or those who have already visited or lived there:

I hope you will learn about the Japanese language and its unique culture so that you can appreciate the good things about Japan and its people.

As I said earlier, I look forward to seeing you when I open a Japanese language lesson corner.
