I have visited over 30 countries.
I still vividly remember the nervousness and fear I felt the first time I went abroad.
I studied the guidebook from that time diligently, and was so nervous I couldn’t sleep when I arrived at the airport that day.
The first country I visited was Australia.
Everything I saw, heard, and ate was new, and every day was a culture shock.
However, leaving Japan for a foreign country completely changed my values and common sense, and so did my outlook on life.
As you know, Japan is an island nation, and unlike other countries, there is little interaction with other ethnic groups. Japan has long developed its own unique culture and society.
By looking at Japan from the outside through my overseas travels, I realized that it is a unique and mysterious country.
I am currently writing a book titled “My First Japan” (working title) for first-time visitors and those interested in Japan.
As a Japanese person, I would like to share the true face of Japan.
I will also share information and anecdotes that are not included in Japan travel guidebooks.
I hope that this book will help you gain a deeper understanding of Japanese society and the temperament of the Japanese people.
I plan to publish it on Kindle, and I will let you know when it is released.
