I’ve been using Airbnb, as many of you know, for over a decade.
Until then, I preferred staying in popular hotels, but I’ve started using this system to save money and extend my stays.
I found a very convenient and comfortable apartment in Bangkok, in the area between the major cities of Asoke and Phrom Phong.
This condominium is especially recommended for first-time visitors and beginners.
Let me explain in a bit more detail.
Asoke is a very popular area that every Bangkok traveler will visit at least once.
It’s home to Terminal 21, a shopping mall famous for its incredibly affordable food court.
You can enjoy Thai specialties for around 50 baht.
Also nearby is the 24-hour supermarket “Tops,” one of the many in Thailand. I always buy souvenirs there.
It’s also home to stylish restaurants and bars, making it perhaps the most prosperous area in Bangkok.
Phrom Phong is a particularly popular area for Japanese people.
There are many Japanese-related shops, such as Japanese restaurants, izakayas, and Fuji Supermarkets.
Of course, there are also plenty of local Thai food eateries, so this area is especially recommended for people who enjoy eating and drinking.
There is also a fashion mall with high-end brand shops lined up in front of Phrom Phong Station, so it is also recommended for people who want to enjoy shopping.
This condominium is located in the middle of these two areas, so it’s in a very convenient location.
However, since it’s set back a little from the main road, the surrounding area is very quiet.
The six-story building has a common area and kitchen on the first floor.
The coin laundry, one of my priorities, is on the sixth floor, and both the washing machine and dryer are available for 20 baht each.
I think it’s very convenient for travelers staying for more than a week.
