The Feelings of People Who Are Addicted to Bangkok 1

Even before I went to Thailand, I often heard that many people were crazy about it.

Bangkok is incredibly popular with travelers from all over the world, and amid the COVID-19 pandemic, I’d always thought it would be my next destination.

When the time finally came to travel abroad, I immediately planned a trip to Thailand.

I’ve always loved urban travel, so I decided to stay in Bangkok without hesitation.

For my first time in Bangkok, I researched various things on YouTube and decided on a hotel in the heart of Bangkok, called Asoke.

I was amazed by the sheer traffic jams on Bangkok’s famous roads, which I’d often seen on YouTube.

Even Tokyo, a major city in Japan, doesn’t experience such impressive traffic jams.

The tropical scents and climate, the gentleness of the locals, and the relaxed pace of life were very soothing to me.

I think it’s the polar opposite of Japan.

Many Japanese people are pressed for time, have a tense atmosphere, and walk briskly as if they’re being chased by something.

And as a coffee lover, Bangkok is heaven for me.

There are so many stylish cafes and the coffee is absolutely delicious.

The taste of coffee is completely different from Japanese coffee.

The food is also really delicious, and as a big eater, I eat about five meals a day when I come to Bangkok.

For me, being in a country with delicious food is very important.

Public transportation is also well-developed, and services like Grab taxis are very convenient.

Honestly, I find it much more convenient than Japan.

Like many travelers, I became hooked after just one visit to Bangkok.
Since then, I have spent the New Year holidays in Bangkok every year.
